So far tracking is still showing my order from the blowout sale is set to arrive tomorrow. My order was on 5/27... today is 6/27... so, 31st day today... 32nd day tomorrow. Not far out of line for what I was thinking it would take. I know others have had much worse times ordering things in stock.

Did they say why they didn't do a PS5 version of Turok 3? It's out digitally. Makes no sense to not offer it.

Also would be nice to get an update on the P3 and P4 Grimoire Editions

Is this the first time they've done a strategy guide? Not gonna lie, in terms of cheap paper products, strategy guides are something I'd actually like. I'm sure they'll cheap, thin and mini-sized.... but still, better than many other shit they had in their CEs.
Shredder's Revenge had one too. It was in the CE for the original release, and then in the Classic editions of the anniversary releases.

Blowout box 3 of 4 delivered. A bit more dinged up box but contents were safe with bubbles. Waiting on one more with a single game in it.

Risky revolution gba seems to be delayed. I got an email saying Jan 2025

My copy of Tiny Metal Ultimate showed up today from the sale. Thankfully not a hole punched copy and it looks mint. I will say, the current bubble mailers with bigger bubbles are a huge improvement over the old tiny bubble mailers. They aren’t as pretty but I don’t care about pretty colored bubble mailers. So shopping dama over.

Keep in mind with that JP clock tower option on Amazon, the publisher Superdeluxe is LRG’s publishing house over there (partnered with someone else). Not that I’m saying anything positive or negative about Superdeluxe, just pointing out it’s still LRG.

Goodness, got 3 packages coming from LRG. Granted one of them is a replacement because they sent me the wrong games from the blowout sale. Also got M2 Tiger Heli and Rocket Knight coming in. Been cutting back on LRG preorders though, skipped Clock Tower and something else before that I simply forgot to preorder before going on vacation.

Enjoy PLAYYYYYYYYYYINNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG them ;) .

LRG finally did it. A collector's edition with the contents I want with Ninja Five-O - the game, soundtrack, book, stickers (ok, could skip) and box. Oh, but it still more than doubles the price! So still skipping the CE.

BG&E CE seems like poster and art book edition for $200. Standard it is.

Last blowout order came in. River City Girls 2 for Xbox. I was too quick to order and didn't know the soundtrack and poster were the only thing in the box. Got a card too, but that wasn't ever anything I cared about.

Price on the page says $125, unless I'm missing something. Still a huge rip offer for a art-flipbook, some pictures, a few small trinkets. I wish they would provide actual details on the contents included (how big is the poster? how many pages is the artbook? how big is the statuette?) but of course, they won't since the answers are predictable...

Wow, even at only 500 units the arzette controller still seems to be available.

The gray version sold out... though it was cheaper, didn't come bundled with anything, and looks more like the original version people might have some nostalgia for.

Reading up on it, seems like it's not well loved even by serious cd-i fans.

I was thinking the grey one didn't actually sell out so LRG painted the remaining stock purple and threw in a steam code.

I think the purple ones are a new shell completely. Though I don't see the appeal of it at all. The regular one, I read some places that people were buying for potential emulation of CDi on PC that want a more authentic playing experience. I'm not sure why anyone else would even want such a contraption beyond nostalgia.

Little off topic but 1st Press Games has released another statement regarding the ongoing delay situation. This is going to come as a shock, but everything is still delayed.

So... hold up...
Keeping silent on this matter has led to a lot of customers to lose faith in us because it seems that we are just randomly shifting deadlines. False accusations and threats against us increased, which is why we decided to finally go public with the details of the delay.

There are various incredible statements accusing us of stealing money and even splitting it up with the developers without any intention to release the games we took preorder money for. In the past there were such companies and their "fate" is still vivid. First Press Games is not one of them and we are not making the reasons for the current delay up.

The only reason they provided updates is because people started talking shit when you kept just delaying your product? Like seriously? You couldn't just provide actual updates because it was the right thing to do... but instead only did when people hurt your feelings because you took their money, didn't do your due diligence with the production companies ("they told us they could do it!!"), and just kept blindly delaying it?

LRG looks competent compared to these guys.

God to think I almost caved on getting Chained Echoes from them

Yeah seriously, I almost ordered it but this is one where I'm ok with getting something digitally only.

Most of the remaining limited print companies are terrible now. Strictly Limited, which I have four games in two orders that are in preorder hell. I will never order anything from them ever again. I was going to order chained Echoes from First Press but I decided to just get a cheap digital copy. Glad I did.

Sounds like the 1st Press People learned nothing from watching LRG over the years. Collectors editions are the hardest to produce since you need to have multiple factories willing to priorities your production in small numbers... so the more complex you make them, the harder it is to do. Now do this needing to coordinate factories in multiple countries and it's even more of a mess. Communication is key... and silence will burn whatever good will you had with people. They got in way over their collective heads here. It's good they finally gave an update, but continual updates are what will be meaningful the most... not just reacting to online chatter to cave in and finally tell people whats up.
