I have won 90 auctions on Listia, including a brand new Flip HD Mino Video Camera, a brand new Canon Photo Printer, a used laser printer, lots of old comics books, video games, and random other items I was interested in.
Basically, you get 50 points for signing up and 100 points/credits when you list your first auction. You also get 20 bonus points if you offer free shipping and upload a photo of your item. You then use those points/credits to big on items you want. Many items include free shipping.
I've sold a lot of Coke Rewards point codes on the site, because I get those free on my Coke products and they aren't really worth much to me as the Rewards on the Coke site suck these days. I get the 20 free credits for listing the Coke Rewards auction and whatever number of credits the points sell for. I have also used the site to get rid of old video games I don't want and then win new games.
It's easy to come out ahead, money-wise, in my opinion, especially when bidding on their Rewards Auctions, which have included iPod Touches, iPads, PS3 systems, Wii systems, big screen TVs, digital cameras, new release video games, new release DVDs/Blu-Rays, etc.
You should be able to get at least one free video game (with free shipping) with just the credits you get for signing up to the site.
