live help [pls use general ?'s thread above]

I finally decided to join the 21st century and got broadband and xbox live this weekend. The only problem is my mic seems to have stopped working...thought it was defective so i bought another one...it started off working fine..was having a ball smacktalking on halo 3....then it up and quit...i have checked the settings its set to not be muted...live support was no help....anybody?

Maybe everyone else muted you?

Also, in some modes of H3 theres is no voice communication. Specifically ranked FFA match types, but there may be others. Its so people dont conspire to easily get acheivements.

Also also, I think in certain modes you have to push up on the d-pad to talk, its not always on. Which is a feature I like, Im sick of playing with 'Darth Vader' heavy breathing types.
