live opinion

also tell me which has the best offline storyline, gameplay, fun etc..., I might only have one game at first for 360 and i gotta choose btween these and possibly QUAKE 4, and PREY

Well, as far as Kameo goes, i'm prety sure it only has leaderboards and no online multiplayer.

As for the other two, it's what kind of games you like to play. To me though, first person shooters are always better on online multiplayer than any other game. Mainly do to the fact that you will always be able to feel like you accomplished something (easy kills).

But in racing games, the only people that really play that one anymore are hardcore people that are pros at it. And to me, it's not fun becuase it's not even a contest, because you're not going to win.

PDZ all the way. FPS's are so much fun online. I would also say PDZ has the best single player story mode. But If I had to choose a first title, I would get Gears of war or Ghost Recon.

Im assuming you can only buy a 20 dollar game? I probably wouldnt buy ANY of those games and just save up more money. I WOULD however, download the following demos to keep me content with my XBL fix:

RB6 Vegas
Lost Planet (but this one sorta sucks)
Perfect Dark Zero
Ghost Recon
Splinter Cell: DA

I find all the useless chattering on Live to be pretty annoying, and there's no way I am wearing that ridiculous headset thing. Does anyone just turn the voices down all the way and ignore all that stuff? For some reason people seem to get annoyed when someone doesn't talk on there, which I don't understand.

It would be one thing if I was playing with a bunch of friends, but my friends don't have Xboxes.

Cause its hard to play GoW when ur teammate is mute.

Does PD0 still have alot of players online? I just bought a 360 and I'm considering picking up PDO for multiplayer and online play.

Maybe it's just me but just about every multiplayer mode on any game is horribly boring if nobody's talking.

One of the biggest draws of XBL is the social aspect and playing with the community.

Only 1 of my real life friends have XBL but that didn't stop me from diving in and making a ton of e-buddies.

That's true. And there is a big difference between chatting about nonsense and bullshit and actually chatting to play the game.

Wow, you may just be the vainest gamer I've ever heard of. Or do you usually game at beauty pageants? Do you make sure your hair is combed and your tie is on straight before you sit down on your couch to enjoy a nice game of robotron?

If you aren't willing to listen and talk to corroborate attacks in team based games, please stay out of my games, I lose enough as it is.

But, by your snobby attitude and your alias, I'm guessing your either french or french candadian.

Vain? LOL! I just think it's dumb and uncomfortable.

And I think the useless chattering is boring. Maybe Live is not for me.

Wrong, and you sound like an idiot.

Wow! The only game where wereing a headset isnt needed is some demos and maybe halo 2 in team training.

Well my first game was PDZ and yea I love it and think its a great game for online. I met a bunch of people who are now my friends online, talking to your teamates is a must now and we all play Gears of War. I don't know how many people still play but I would assume that there are still plenty.

Maybe videogames are not for you. Maybe.

I can't imagine not talking to people over Xbox Live. It makes games so much more enjoyable to hear "Enemy to the right" when you're in a tactical shooter, or brag to someone after smoking them in a race, or the frustration from someone when you kick their ass in a sports game. Although I will admit there are a lot of assholes on Live, for every asshole there is someone pretty cool around.

Wow looks like a touched a nerve on some insecure people here?
Funny how some people seem to be offended by my opinion....
I'm not saying what YOU should do, now am I?

So far I have run into games with a bunch of 12 year olds...maybe I've
just been unlucky. Like I said if I was playing with friends it would be cool.

To jump back on topic I'd suggest PGR3, I like FPS's but I find PDZ frustrating as hell. The few times I have played it online I seem to shoot someone numerous times only to be one-shot killed, this could just be cos I suck at it or it could be cos the weapons are unbalanced.

Plus the fact PGR3 is a much better game, PDZ is pretty rotten, even at $20.

As to chatting on live, I can see peoples point about it being helpful in some games if your team-mates communicate with you and I have met some cool people on live. But there are a lot of dicks shouting abuse, you just need to be ready to mute their asses. You're certainly not required to talk to anyone.
