Local XBOX 360 Deal

Hey I found a post on my local CraigsList about a 360, and tbh I'm more of a PS guy and always have been, uber-noob at xbox 360 stuff..

Here's the post:

I just want it outta here.
it works, comes with cords, has an HD toggle switch.

Also, in the title it said "No Harddrive" (which to my understanding means you can play games on it but you can't save anything without one?).

He's asking $50 bucks for it btw.

So I emailed him asking:

Is it a banned console? Also, does it work? Has the warranty been voided?

Reply:

unbanned, has minor problems but runs and ill show problem, unvoided warenty

So my question is, what should I look for or watch out for, and what questions do I need to ask? I mean 50 bucks for a working 360 sounds pretty good, but like I said, I don't know a lot about 360's so I was looking for advice.
