wynams deal from Amazon is a much better one; I'll leave this one up in case the Amazon deal expires before.

If you're looking for a PS3 bluetooth keyboard, this is one of the best I've found. The price on the site is $139.95, shipping ranges from $8-20 depending on what kind you select, and I believe there's only tax in NJ. If you choose the cheapest shipping, you can get it for as low as $98.

If anyone's got a better deal with instant rebates, feel free to add.

Having a keyboard for the PS3 is only really necessary if you do a lot of internet browsing or have a lot of media files that you prefer to organize in particular ways (by album, artist, etc.) which would be simpler to execute with a keyboard (as opposed to using the autofill/cellphone style inputs.

I'm using a regular Logitech wireless currently and just ordered this keyboard, which I've been eye-ing for a long time. I've heard good things about it and just wanted to share the deal with anyone else who'd find one useful (lots of media, chatting, internet, Linux).
are there buttons for l1, l2, r1, r2 and maybe the ps button or how would you work around those?
Why would there be? This is a normal bluetooth keyboard.

They're mapped to different buttons (F1, for example, is 'triangle'). Consult your PS3 manual.

Unreal Tourney 3 is loads more fun with keyboard+mouse than a controller.

thanks for the response. :)

unfortunately my ps3 manual is in japanese lol. :(

Damn you CAG, another thing I don't need, but have recently been looking at, and will now buy because the Amazon deal is so damn good.

I am now broke, but surrounded by cool technology.

I bought this keyboard a while back when it was $70 AR. It is really thin, and REALLY sleek looking with the thin black gloss and orange glow.

However, that's what you're paying for, as functionally it is very lacking.

I now use this x-gene keyboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823130006), which you can find as low as $60 at some places, and it's 1000x more usable.

The trackball on the x-gene is much more convenient than the trackpad on the dinovo. Also, the x-gene has buttons both on the face of the keyboard and up on top where your index finger lies, and you can use whichever you want. The Edge requires two-handed use with both hands on the same side of the keyboard to click around, whereas with the x-gene you can use it in various more comfortable positions, including one-handed.

Also, the x-gene is plug and play, no lame bluetooth drivers to install.

If anyone is interested in saving a few bucks, I can let my diNovo go for the $70 I paid for it.

I kinda feel your pain...I bought mine used, and therefore did not get a manual (or 5 free BDs).

Fear not, my friend. Sony has the manuals available on their website, and (iirc) through the PS3. Just use your american user account if you're going to view from your PS3.

Personally, I just played with the keys until I found what I needed, which was mainly just needing the 'triangle' button so I could send/receive notifications, etc. You'll really only need to use 'F1' and 'Enter' outside of the alphabet. If you're going to use it for gaming, you really only need a couple of letters (move+strafe), numbers are the weapons, and user your mouse to shoot. Not all games support keyboard+mouse (why on earth COD4 didn't include it as an option is beyond me), so make sure you have games that can use them before you go getting a keyboard.
