bam, still sealed.. that means it's been on the shelf for.. what, five years? Glad I took the trip this morning.. got it for $19.99 or so.. omgf rarez discs?! this one's going on ebay, anyone wanna take a guess at how much it'll fetch?

Didn't realize it went for so much. I sold mine for about $30 a while ago (after finding it complete at blockbuster for $3).
 
Wow, $50 - $65? They have another, I may take a trip tomorrow and get the other sealed copy. I know it hits around $30-$40 mint/complete..

Maybe (hopefully) it'll be a case of MGS2: Substance.. $15-$20 used, $120 new!

Sealed copies always go for more. I found Bust a Groove at GR for $4 and moved it for around $70 an ebay too. When they opened around me (13 stores) in November, it was a paradise. :)

A Wal-Mart near me also has a sealed copy of Mana. I was going to buy it, but it's still priced at $39.99. No thanks.

A KB Toys near me had one for that price, as well as a Front Mission 3 about 3-4 months ago. I asked if they were on sale considering they were PS1 games, and they said no. So I passed. Good job Scorch.

Same thing happened at all my area KBs, I think that's half the reason they all went out of business. For some reason they refused to drop the price on any video game even like 3 years after release.

Heh, whatever site the images in the OP are coming from is blocked, so this entire topic left me wondering what the two games were that you found? The only clue I found was "Mana". Its like a murder mystery only with no one dying, and someone found some rare games!

I wouldn't say it's common. I've never seen a copy new or used around chicago.
