anyone selling one cheap..new or used .

i wanted to get an action replay but i heard you cant use it as a memory unit and it sucks
 
Yes you can. I use mine as a memory unit. I transfer saves with it from my XBox to my cousin's.

EDIT: That's actually how you get saves on your xbox, you transfer it from PC to memory card to XBox. So yeah. It works fine for me.
 
the action replay is fine, but you can only use your action replay software with the action replay card it came with. (you can't grab a 1st or 3rd party memory card and use it with it) i use mine as a memory card, plus it's the closest thing to an xbox gameshark. eventhough there is an xbox gameshark product it's the same as action replay, execpt it supports any memory card, i beileve.
 
well heres the thing....im gonna lend my xbox to a friend so i wanted to move my pso character to a memory unit so he doesnt mess with it or anything....and i can backup certain saves as well since my x is acting strange. i though aboput getting the replay because i was hoping it would let me save regular files to it as well but the worker at gamestop said it wont let you use it as a regular mem unit...and that its not to good. just has powersaves etc

I doubt you can. Some files can NOT be put on a memory card, and I do believe that that is one of them. I know you also can't put DOA saves on memory cards as well.. DOA XBV, anyways.

lol i want to have "any" xbox mem unit...im positive pso lets you "move" your character to a mem unit...

i was looking around for mem units today but the cheapest was 19.99. i almost bought the pro replay but then decided not to...
 
I know Sears was clearancing them out a while ago, you might want to check there. They were 1st party mem units too.

let us know how that PSO file move to the mem card goes because in the last 2 years of playing it for XBOX I havent been able to move my file........ :roll:
