Im totally running out of room for dvds/cds in my room. I need pretty big DVD/CD tower to hold all my extra movies, games and music dvd/cds. Anyone know of a good looking one thats fairly large and reasonably priced?
Check your staples. Also supposedly FYE has one that FAR in store. Thtat was posted on Fatwallet.
If you could drop the fatwallet link I would be very appreciative.

how big a one do you need? I have a fairly good size one I got from Meijers for $50 on sale a while back. I believe it said it holds 800+ cds, or a combination of dvds and cds

I just bought 2 of the 5 shelf bookshelfs that office depot sales. They were $30 each and hold all my games and dvds with a little room left over.

hey, i was looking for one of these the other day, i decided to get this one from target.com http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...2?_encoding=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B00018TVK6
hopefully thatll help, but the target.com had a lot more, maybe you can find another there
OMG, thats exactly what I need, wow Im totally getting that thing, thanks alot.
shizzle, i look forward to mine getting here as well

Just barely picked up a very nice one for $35 at Media Play. Holds 217 DVDs or 400 somthing CDs, or a mix of the two, and it looks great without being too big/bulky. Perfect for all my DVDs and Xbox games.

Check stores like Big Lots. The one near me has some pretty decent office/living room stuff. They have a Sauder dvd/cd rack that I would estimate can hold about 100 or so DVD's or games. These sell just about everywhere for around $20. I would also check Salvation Army or Goodwill or whatever you have near you. You might be able to find something in good shape there that meets your needs. I found a big entertainment center there for $30 that would normally sell for a couple hundred probably.

I was at one today and they had a 5 shelf bookshelves and a few media stands nothing large enough for me everything was 29 bucks and over. I am looking pretty much for the same thing as OP.
Bump, WHY MUST THAT TOWER BE OOS, DAMMIT, SHIT....need another one.....
What was the model #/manufacturer/capacity/price on this phantom product that is no longer on their site (I came to this party way too late, just saw the thread today)? Maybe I can hunt for it in store or look for it online at other sites. Thank you.
Something like that is perfect but I really dont see me spending more than 40 shipped on it.
Wha? Dude, that one you wanted at Target was like $90, wasn't it?

Anyway, that's a decent price on the Atlantic cabinet, maybe you can pick it up in-store.

Saw it in store but it didnt have a price, maybe Ill nab it.

i'd suggest for CDs to use the big CD Cases and storing the cd jewel cases in a box or something much cheaper and helps control space.

I decided to make my own it was only 45 bucks and the most expensive thing was the wood it was 25 bucks. I looked and looked for the perfect Media stand and I could not find one. So I drew up the plans for this and bulit it. It took me about a hour and a half. The L brackets and screws came to 19 something. It holds what I need and have room for growth. It looks small and grainy cause I took the picture with my cell phone that's only half of the shelves. I bought L brackets made by stanley they were .59 cents each and I got #6 1 1/2'' to go into the drywall. 5/8'' screws to go into the shelving wood. I have 3-5ft shelves and 4-4ft shelves. I figured it to hold about 1,000 things plain dvd cases. The last shelf would not fit in the pic.

Every once in a while, Staples sells certain bookcases half off. They're nothing fancy, but they get the job done.

I bought the Atlantic one last week and put it together in about an hour. It's nice but I'm already running out of room -- luckily I have enough space to put a second right next to it when push comes to shove.
