I currently have a 47" LG LCD I bought 4 years ago and am looking to upgrade.  I'm looking for something 50-60"s, has low input lag(this tv will mostly be for gaming), and looking to spend around $1200.  So far I have been looking at the Sony kdl-55w802a, Sony kdl-50w800b, and the Samsung Un55h6400.  I really like the Sony 802a but $1500 is hard to justify compared to the other two.  The 800b seems like a better deal for the price but there doesn't seem to be much information about it online which is a little worrying.  Any other TVs I should be looking into?  I plan to go to the store this weekend to check them out in person.

I like Vizio.  They're becoming tops for price vs quality.  If you have a Sam's Club near you I would suggest checking out their inventory,  even if you don't have a membership.  You can tell them you'd like to look before signing up, and might end up saving $100's of dollars over Best Buy or Wal-mart.  More TV for the same price at the very least.

Just to note, at least my local Sams Club, does 1 day memberships for free (or like $3, I can't remember which one it was as I sent a family member to p/u something there) You only get two per year though.

So if you find a tv there like the above recommended you are able to do it without membership :)

After some more research I've narrowed it down to either the Sony kdlw800b or the Samsung UH6350.  I'll check out Sams club when I go look at these tvs in store.

I went to the store this past weekend and ended up buying this. They had an open box one for $1600 and I talked the guy down to $1500.  I didn't really want to pay that much for a TV but it was worth it, this TV is amazing.
