Looking for a New Vegas deal

I wasn't really hyped for New Vegas that much, and I intended on getting it around the end of the year or maybe January, once the game's price dropped a bit, but all of my friends have been saying it's so amazing, and I'm dying to play it now. My only issue is that I have next to no money for the next few weeks (college sucks), and most of what little cash I've got is going to be going towards Black Ops, the great downloadable games coming out, and maybe a cheap game or two.

So anyway, are there any deals (preferably not gift card deals, although those are good too) for New Vegas yet? I know there probably aren't any, but it can't hurt to ask. After all, Halo: Reach was discounted $15 a few weeks before release, so anything can happen...

Every review I've read says it has so many bugs that you're probably better off waiting a few months anyway. I'd personally rather wait until its patched so that I can enjoy it properly the first time I play it, plus it'll obviously be cheaper if you wait.

True, and I'm sure the first DLC will be out by then, too.

I'm starting to wonder if I should just wait for the inevitable GOTY edition...

I'm in the same boat. Personally I'm going to wait probably until the end of the year (or BF) and see what the deals are. I'm getting it for the PC, which I know has been patched extensively in the past week, so getting the GOTY edition is not really a big deal considering the free mods available. Also considering that I played the hell out of F3 without getting any DLC except Broken Steel, I'm not really in a rush to see what could happen.

Bottom line, despite how cool the game CAN be once the bugs are fixed, I'd still wait a little bit longer. Maybe a 20% price drop?

yeah, i bought it off here and recieved it tuesday night. i got a killer deal on it, and as soon as i put it in there was an update which means they are working on the bugs lol. i did notice one but it didn't freeze up or anything, i was just able to walk through a section of wooden fence lol. it is a good game so far, but i'll probably play it a little more and trade it, all i ever play anymore is mw2 so there is no sence in having money sitting around in disk form lol.
