Ok, I've played (and own) everything Zelda, its the only thing I actually collect video game-wise.. but I need to get the three cd-i games (Wand of Gamelon, Zelda's Adventure, and Faces of Evil) and a system to play them on. Anyone know of a cheap source for any or all.. or anyone trying to offload any of the above?

And yes, I know they suck.. I want to find out how much.

edit - I'm an idiot, fixed now.

I've been thinking of hunting them down as well but so far, I have had no luck. Isn't the system for them Phillips Cd-I or something like that? Maybe that was a version of the 3D0. I knew nothing about that system.

Okay, so it's been changed.

the auction you bid on for 56, if you click on the link for the first game you can search their catalog. They have Zelda's adventure for 30 something, just give them a call and see if they have it

Off topic: You know what game I always wanted to play back then for the Cd-i? Voyeur (sp?). That game looked oh so naughty.

if you want a backup copy of both the games go to cd-helper.com here you will spend no more then 10.00 shipped for both of them. You do need to become a member or their site(it's free) to buy from people.

the CD-I plays all backups without a modchip.
I remember watching Filter once where Wand of Gamelon was voted worst game of all time.
Yeah, and in that same show, Shenmue was the 2nd worse game of all time. Worse than Superman64. That show just put the nail in the coffin in terms of me watching G4.

It's not exactly good, or even that naughty. The Zelda games aren't good either, although Zelda's Adventure is clearly the best and the only one of the three with the traditional top-down Zelda view. I was fortunate enough to land a copy for quite a nice price a few years back when I decided to check out what CD-i had to offer. The answer: not too much.
