Home after a long 10 hour day at work. Gonna fire up the PSP and play more Pangya fantasy golf.

So, I've got some $$$ in my PSN wallet and I only have a PSP, anything good worth grabbing? I'm thinking about Pixel Junk Monsters Deluxe but I can't get the thought out of my head that it isn't worth the $20 price.

I forgot all about Goozex and missed a game I wanted. I guess I'll start putting up some DVDs and shit I don't want anymore to get some points.
Don't say that, JSP.
Haha I was reading some old GGTs earlier. I miss the bashing of TMk for his shitty titles.
That's what I was wondering? Especially since you have both systems now.
I'll tell you why:
-My 360 is on the verge of dying and its out of warranty. If it dies, my only option is to buy another, and it may be a while until I do so.
-If I play my 360, the controllers are wired normally since the battery doesn't last long in the controller.
-My 360 uses more power than my PS3 slim, so by using my PS3 I'm saving on my electricity bill.
-Controller preference, where I was able to get better rankings with the PS3 controller.
-My 360 is really loud and hearing the disc drive annoys me (I once posted a video on how loud it was), compared to my PS3 which is VERY quiet.
-Installing isn't really an option since its being used for The Last Remnant, which has to be installed to even be playable. My HDD only has 1.5GB left, and there's no way I can make room for another game.
-I rather build my trophies.
-I rather my multi-platform royalty money go to Sony instead of MS.

I don't give a crap about frame rate, since I barely noticed much difference. My eyes aren't too great and usually don't notice graphical differences too much. I DID play both and felt the PS3 demo was fine. The differences in 1Up review was A and A-. Plus I DID play Lost Planet on PS3 even and we all know how that was.

This doesn't mean I'll never support my 360, because I do buy exclusives I want for it, and multi-platform games many of my friends are getting (such as online multi-player games, where I'll buy it on PS3 AND 360).

As for

I spent about $35 on Steam so far. Does that qualify?

A couple of my buddies came over to play Borderlands. Since they don't come over very often, I just let them have at it while I started a new character in Dragon Age. Went with a Davish elf warrior chick and got a bit further than my first human mage character playthrough. Only past the
Battle at Ostragar
, but so far I'm enjoying the warrior a bit more than the mage. Hot damn, but Morrigan is quite fetching...

PDZ is tight, ninja dog! Dat shyt if OFF DA CHAAAIIINNNZZ!!

Gonna start Dragon Quest VIII later today, so I'm looking forward to that.

I think I'm gonna shelve NG Sigma for now. I'm about halfway into it, but I just got no motivation to go any further. I really like the game tho.

Joanna has small eyes and all her girl parts.

Like you even needed to add this bullet point.

I got a 100 hit combo in Bayonetta just by shooting a guy continuously! :whee:
I got a 2000 hit combo by holding the x button. :whee:

Played a good bit of Batman over the weekend. Probably 3/4ths or so through the story I'd guess. I have started looking a bit harder for Riddler's challenges--think I have a bit over 50% of them. Trying to focus mainly on finishing the game, then I'll spend a little bit of time looking for the challenges but doubt I'll 100% them.

I might have to make some more Steam purchases when I get home:

The Killing Floor: $4.99
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box: $7.49
The Orange Box: $14.99
Prey: $2.25

You deserve a trophy. And by that I mean, you deserve a real life trophy for putting up with that piece of shit game.

I'm not sure why you even bothered with Bayonetta, since you were lukewarm on DMC4 at best. If people liked DMC4, odds are, they'll like Bayonetta. Except for the fucking Alfheims. fuck you, #3.

This Sherlock Holmes game is decent, I hope it will play in my US 360 as well but I'm not sure it will.

I'd forgotten about the whole "use the social groups" suggestion.
You know what else is awesome? Left 4 Dead 2 on PlayS... wait a minute...

:(
Some of us dont like L4D so its cool ^_^

If only I had a real PC...then BP would be mine for the second time!

Oh, and Bayonetta is alright so far. I'm not seeing anything outstanding about it except for the amount of shit that's on screen preventing me from seeing what I'm doing.

Damn it, The 2 figures I pre-ordered were pushed back to next month... where I have 2 more pre-ordered. I guess this does free up a little money to spend on the steam and GOG sales.

Dude, I'd rather play L4D than L4D2. And there's a lot of games I'd rather play over L4D, so it's no biggie. ;)

The dodge mechanic and combo variety are really good. It's definitely a game for people who like to be abused. There are some major problems, but it's definitely a decent game. And from the slowdown and vsync problems I've seen on the 360, it seems to me that the versions are closer than people would have you believe.
Sure. What did you get?
So far I gots:

Torchlight
King's Bounty Armored Princess
Prince of Persia Sands of Time
Witcher Enhanced Director's Cut
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Stalker: Chernobyl
Lucas Arts Adventure Pack
Braid

I forgot about King's Bounty, so I guess that's $45. >_<

I'm looking at getting Jedi Knight Collection before the sale ends and will contemplate any other titles that might drop or go on Daily Deal before the sale ends.

Not too interested in today's deals, although BP Ultimate and Killing Floor are tempting...

I definitely agree with you on the problems I've seen in the 360 version. To say its' without fault is a complete lie. It makes me wonder why the 360 version got away with the problems it has in reviews. Maybe tearing isn't so bad when you don't move the camera, but you have the move the camera A LOT in this game.

I agree the dodging mechanic is very good, sometimes I feel like it's the only move that separates it from DMC. It's basically bonus time, but it's really the first move you want to make. And if you miss it, you feel like backing off until you can do it again.

My other complaints are mostly nit picking... like the goddamn cutscenes with NO animation and just voice-overs. That and the whims of the dodge window to expand and contract spontaneously... how far are you?

I'm through Chapter 3. I've completed a Moon Pearl and a Witch's Heart, and done 1 Alfheim(?). There was this one part in Chapter 3 where the camera panned far away and I couldn't really see anything and enemies spawned and smacked me. That was aggrivating.
What's the difference between those two?

And to keep us on track: Bayonetta is horrible.
Cinematic Titanic is Joel's thing, Rifftrax is Mike's.

If you got a chance to get to it, how does Sands of Time hold up?

Ahhhh .. does he have any old MST3k cast members on there with him? And how great would it be if a cable channel picked up Rifftrax or CT (since I'm assuming its impossible MST3k could ever come back at this point).
