Looking for: Good, well priced Xbox 360 projector

Just looking for a good projector in the 1000 dollar area that has component inputs and at least supports 1080i. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as I know nothing about projectors. Thanks.

When you say supports 1080i, do you mean that is what you want it to display? Or do you just want it to accept the signal but it can display it in whatever the projectors native resolution is? If you are looking for a projector to actually display 1080i for around $1000, I think you will have quite a wait. If you just want it to be able to handle the signal then there are some out there that can take a 1080i signal and display it at 720p or less.

I don't think there are any projectors that are natively 1080i, but honestly why would you want it in that resolution? Progressive images are SO much better.

I'd go with a native 720p one, personally. A quick search on AVSForum has revealed the Optoma HD70 as a popular choice for a sub-$1000 projector. CC has it for just under $1000 this week, so you could pick it up there.
