Looking for help importing a better GameCube port cover for my Wii

All,

Back in mid-December, Wii Fanboy ran this post about a cool looking product from Japanese firm Cyber Gadget. It's basically a replacement cover for your Wii's GameCube ports that doesn't require you to expose all of them to be able to plug in a controller or memory card. It's a much cleaner look and collects less dust than leaving the lid flipped open or removed to keep a controller plugged in, which has become much more relevant to me now that Brawl is out. Here's a link to the product's home page, in Japanese of course.

I've been waiting patiently, hoping for Play-Asia or some other importer to start carrying them, but one has so far. So, I'm wondering if any CAGs in Japan have seen these for sale over there and can help me get my hands on one. Either a store willing to ship to the US or someone willing to buy and ship it over here for me would do.

As far as payment arrangements, I'm a verified PayPal user and a near perfect rep on eBay as a buyer and seller if that helps with the trust issue. I'm willing to be flexible, within reason, in setting up the terms of the transaction.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give,

RWilloug

That looks neat, but the controller ports look like the wavebird remote won't connect due to it getting in the way?

Anyway, I checked the japanese site, and it says release date is November 12th 2008.

Doh! I missed the release date. Seems kind of strange to announce a product that's essentially just a piece of plastic nearly a year in advance. Oh well.

Anyway, the Wavebird remote issue wouldn't bother me, since I use an official pearl white GameCube controller I managed to import from Europe a while back. The Wavebird is nice, but I gotta have my rumble. :)

Been a while since I looked into this. I still can't find a reseller for it with an English site. Any Japanese CAGs willing help hook me up with one of these?
