Would anyone recommend a PC/Mac portable harddrive that's reliable and cheap. Looking for a price of $120 and below.

How big? Powered or Unpowered? Doesn't matter what os you use any harrddrive will work with any os so don't even worry about the mac.

Western Digital has a Passport series that are good portable hard drives.

They also have an Elements series that's portable depending on the size you get. I believe mine is 640GB and it's a good size for traveling.

The flooding in Thailand has driven up the prices of hard drives so don't know how great a deal you'll be able to find on them.

What I use on Amazon is $110 right now. I forget what I paid but any deals now what be that great.

if you want the most compatability get a powered one. If it's just for computers, then any will do. Personally, i use the Passport.

OP if you are still looking for a portable hard drive I have a few WD and Seagate ones I would sell for a nice price.

I have a couple of 320 gig ones and also a 500 gig one. They are in mint shape and I still have the USB cable that came packed with each one.

PM me if you would like to work out a deal for one. I would accept PayPal and I ship first class USPS w/ a tracking number. :)

Have a happy new year buddy!
