Alright so this is probably been requested a bunch. I had a copy of rez and i sold it. I don't know what the F i was thinking but i sold it for $90. I would like to go through it again and unfortunately now i cant find it anywhere except ebay for way to much. Mostly for the same price i sold it for :p but i'm a CAG so help me out guys!
 
You could consider getting a dreamcast and the dreamcast version. It would still cost less than the cost of the ps2 version.
 
You someone told me they re-released it for 20 bucks here? Did that ever happen and if so how did that slip underneath my nose?

Actually there was proof, there was a few magazine articles on it. For some reason it just never happened though.

Yeah, it was actually mentioned in a PlayStation magazine, but for some reason, never went through. I don't know why Sega doesn't release more. Surely they have to know what these babies are selling for!

More than that. If I remember correctly, it was mentioned in EGM, GMR, and Game Informer all at one point or another.

They did re-release it. My friend worked at Gamestop and got 1 of the 3 copies they sent. I still have my Rez.

Let me rephrase, there was never any mention from sega about the re release. The rumors never turned out to be true

Son, I've been working for GS since the time that the first printing of Rez was released, and I've never seen any new copies sent to any of the 6 or so GS's that surround my area. Methinks your freind got lucky and snagged some warehouse leftovers, but there was no re-release.

I made the same exact mistake you did man... We're just dummies I guess. But I ended up taking 62t's suggestion. Got a used DC from Power Gamer for $19.99. Rez DC was only released in Europe and Japan. And an unmodded DC won't play imports... however... if you make a backup of your Rez DC game, and edit the boot region coding, it'll play on an American DC.

(I'm sure you can find a pre-edited disc image online somewhere ;))

I too made the mistake of selling 5 sealed copies I had gotten for $5 at the CC sale last year. I sold them for about $40 and didnt keep one for myself.. I am now looking around for one, but refuse to pay the going price on Ebay.

I read the same thing in GMR or EGM mags either last months issues or the one before. If I come across it, I'll post it verbatum. I recall it saying they were re-releasing it for $20 and it had some new stuff on it the previos version didn't have.

I fucking hate sega, this game deserves to be played by all and they wont rerelease. Bastards.

Another simple soultion is to get a gameshark disc and you can play Japanese and PAL game on your dreamcast.

Yep gameshark works as well, or if your DC model is old enough and can read CD-rs, you can download and burn the utopia boot disc, that allows you to play imports.

CAG user Rebthor traded me his sealed Rez for my sealed La Pucelle Tactics...I paid $20 for La Pucelle at Target...he knew that and didn't care, so I threw in a few bucks because of the guilt that i felt...either way, ill never forget the generosity of some of the users on here
