My opinion: Don't buy it. Rent it at your local video game store. After that week your interest should fade... I've been a fan of wrestling most of my life. I don't think the SvR games capture the art of American pro wrestling. The only part of the game I've liked the past few years have been the Road to Wrestlemania. But even they are almost immediately outdated (even before release) due to rosters and storyline changes.
The one bright spot to this years was the user created story content. But it will take another year or two before this is completely flushed out. You end up downloading a ton of bad stuff before (if ever) finding the one well done story.
Lastly, one thing that I hated about the game is the submission break system! When put in a submission move you have to move the right analog back and forth rapidly to break the hold. If you have to do this more than twice a match it becomes very annoying!
I mean not to sway you if this is a game you truly wish to play. By all means, play it. But I'm just trying to look out and advise a rent for this one.
Oh... One more thought. So pro wrestling is certainly a universal form of entertainment. But American pro wresting is VERY American. I would like to see the game actually developed by an American team. You agree?
