LoTRO going free this fall

They're gonna follow the same model as Dungeons and Dragons Online. I always had fun with this game.

I'm a huge LOTR fan, but hate paying monthly fees/lifetime fee to play online games. Now that this is going Free to play then I'm finally going to get to play this game. Thanks for the heads-up OP!

Thanks for the heads up, I may finally try this game. Lately the only MMO I will touch is Guild Wars because it too is free! haha

i love DDO and turbine comes thru again with lotro Free to play......thanks 4 the heads up as i haven't been on turbines site in a while. ddo=best f2p mmo ever...

I'm also a fan of DDO and love it. Can't wait for LOTRO to go free so I can give it a try as well.
