thank you all, anything and everything helps. It is very sad and this leaves his entire family in dire circumstances. He was the bread winner of the house and everything has been put on hold for this ordeal. I just hope to get my friend back.

thank you all very much, we are currently awaiting the results of the EEG to determine his brain activity, they told us an hour for the test and a few hours for the results and its been 6 and a half damn hours.... i'm just hopin the big man of whatever faith you may or may not believe in has a few favors he'll let everyone cash in, i would take his place for him if i knew it wouldnt leave my family in the same boat, he would literally give you the shirt off his back.. hang in there buddy!

updated. after todays assessment from the neurologist, he actually responded to a command. the doc is putting him at around a 35% chance to recover, which is better than the 5% they told us a week ago when he went in, fingers are crossed!

The numbers mean nothing man, the human body will truly amaze you sometimes. I had a buddy who went through the same thing, they gave it less than 5% for 2 months, and then out of nowhere things changed, and it was a slow recovery, and he eventually came out of the coma, went to therapy for a long time, and is now 100% fully recovered.

The human body, mind, and most importantly, spirit, will amaze you. I'm not a religious person but I have faith, and I think with enough love and support from you, his family, and other loved ones, he will be able to recover in full. Keep us posted dude, but I'm so glad to hear that its slowly getting better! A response is a HUGE deal!

yep i agree, he responded to several commands today and they said he yawned.. bastards been asleep for 8 days you'd think he'd be rested lol
