Lumines 2 to appear at E3? Sony pre-E3 video says yes.

I don't see why everyone is so surprised. Tetsuya Mizaguchi many months ago said at least twice that Lumines 2 was already deep into development. The only news I see here is the factthat it will be at E3, which was expected on something that's been in development for so long already.
 
not surprised about Lumines 2, but really excited :)

sure it's a puzzle game, but it's probably my favorite game for PSP. good to see they are making more.

Sequel to one of my favorite PSP games. But I really dont know if it needed a sequel. We will see what they do with it though. A lot of times with puzzle games the sequels dont like up to the first game.
 
Worst case: Lumines 2 is a cross between Lumines and Meteos in the same way that Tetris 2 (called Tetris Flash in Japan) was just Dr. Mario with Tetris pieces instead of capsules.

That said, the biggest thing holding Sony back where I live is the total lack of PSP demo units in stores.
 
sequal to Lumines? Lumines really doesn't need a sequal, I'd rather Dload new skins and songs, but whatever. As for Gangs of London -- Both getaway titles were (and still are) really mediocre GTA wanna-be's.
