Lunar Star Collectior's Edition and Strategy guide worth?

I was wondering about other people's opinions on how much these two would be worth? The game is complete with all the discs, manual, map. The box is in good condition and also the strategy guide is also in good condition. How much should the max amount of money be for these in an auction? Thanks.
 
Oh no I'm not selling it. I'm actually in an Ebay auction for it, and I don't wanna go overboard on the bidding. That's why I'm asking how much would be good to spend for it. And yeah I know these two items are rare and are worth way more than 20 ^_^
 
I would say depending on what guide (i think there's an official and unofficial correct me if I'm wrong)
I'd say 50-60 would be good. But I highly value that game.
 
Ah, thanks. The guide is the official one, and my max bid of 73.50 (shipping is 6.50 so it would've came out at an even 80) bucks just got beat. So I guess I'll just have to wait to another auction to win.

I've seen similar sets go cheaper. Patience is your friend when it comes to Lunar on eBay.

BTW the offical WD guide is mega-expensive now. That's what drives the cost up, especially if it's complete (has stickers and such in the back of the guide).
 
I recently picked up Lunar: SSS and Lunar 2 for around 34 dollars each and both are in MINT condition, in fact, I wonder if this guy even played them. You can get the game and guide for a lot cheaper than that.
 
Ah lucky! Well a friend sold me his Lunar 2 for 30 bucks. The cardboard box was opened by him to check out what's inside, but he didn't open the game at all, so it's still sealed. So I guess I got a pretty good deal out of it.
 
I paid 35 for my SSSC and 8 for the guide because two of the memory card stickers were gone. I'd have used them if they had been there so the collectibility of it isn't an issue to me. I'd pay up to about what you are for it. SSSC is my favorite game so do what you gotta do to get it is my opinion.
 
1) Go to a pawnshop and get it (so much damn cheaper)

or

2) take that $80 and get a Sega CD and the original version of the game. Its so much better than the remake (which actually changed a lot of pivotal plot points)
 
I've always wanted to go to pawnshops, cept I have no idea where any are in Chicago, particularly the Northside. Can anyone point out a couple of good places around here?
 
I'd say it's worth $60 or so... maybe more. I couldn't tell you really though because I got the game when it first came out and never looked back.
 
Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not buying the games when I had the chance to. Oh yeah, I also want to ask how much is a new/sealed Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow should go for? I found one at 30 bucks at a indie place and I was wondering if it is worth it?
 
I sold mine for around $60, complete game only, but I found the official guide later at my house and gave it to the winning bidder for nothing. Felt generous..
 
Well I just found another auction on Ebay, it includes a mint complete collector's edition, both the official and unofficial guides, and the puppet at $99 buy it now only. I decided to take the deal, knowing that the other auction that I talked about at the start of this thread ended at 152 bucks, so I was thinking that I would be stupid not to get it.
 
Welp, I got (will get) both the official and unofficial, so it's all good with me. It seems that the official guide fetches about 50 bucks on ebay by itself.
 
I borrowed this game from a friend a long time ago...

*puts on flame-retardant suit* I really didn't see what was so incredible about it, why it's so cherished, etc....then again, I didn't play all that far, either. The anime scenes were pretty cool, but as an RPG it seemed pretty average. Meh. Anybody want to convert me?
 
Well I probably can't convince you or anything, but I love old school rpgs with anime sprites. Weird thing is that I started playing rpgs on the PS. I haven't played any of the classic SNES ones, except Chrono Trigger, which also was damn awesome.
