Madden 08 @ BB: $10 off w/pre-order

hm. so.

preorder madden for $5, preorder another game for $5, and get $10 off Madden? Kinda lame. Assuming you preorder Madden and get it for 54.99, is it $10 off the 54 or $10 off the 59? If it's $10 off the 54.99, good deal, if it's $10 off the 59.99, bad deal.

BB sucks anyway.
 
Yeah, you need to buy another game to get 10 dollars off. Sucks when you only want Madden. Also sucks when you could just play Madden 07 and get the same experience.

$10 of the total from BOTH games, and the non-Madden 08 MUST be $29.99 or more.

So the way I read it is, buy Maddden full price, get $10 off second game over $30.

BB is seeming desparate to get people to buy Madden there, as they should be. The game sells itself to most buyers, but they should just knock off 5$ off the price tag and that would attract most of the first day buyers away from CC, Target, EB, and some of the others that will have it for retail.

In this week's ad you get a $10 gift card for buying any game over $40 and pre-ordering any game. So if doesn't have to be Madden.

Best Buy has a coupon floating around that offers $10 off the purchase of a video game that costs $29.99 or more if you purchase it alongside Madden 08, which is the same deal you get for pre-ordering online.

Where do I get this coupon? My apologies if this has been posted somewhere else. (I want to buy Persona 3....but the web-site isn't letting me get the deal with a pre-order, even though they both come out this week!)

actually toys r us have the best deal 20% /and or another game for 50% off blockbuster would be good but you have to have a special coupon thats not avaible to every one
 
Madden was slashed an additional $5 for no discernable reason. For the half off sale they had NO games I was interested in (The Darkness, Overlord, or Fight Nght 3) so I just grabbed DiRT which i'm already flipping on ebay. DiRT's fun but i already rented the shit out of it.
