I have the following questions, without supposing/suggesting anything:

How likely is it that BPs Alaskan pipeline is the result of 30 years of accidental neglect?

Is it a coincidence that there's news of a major terrorist attack now that gas prices are going to absolutely surge to all time highs as a result of the Prudoe Bay shut down (and across the board predictions of an extremely active hurricane season)?

I don't actually believe that this is the government's work but it reminds me of that segement in V for vendetta where they run all of the negative news articles to show the public how bad things are and that they still need a strong(oppressive) government. This come a day after the Liberman defeat and a poll showing 60% of the public against the war both of which could show the strong anti-war sentiment of the public in the upcoming election. Its also funny how they tell us that there have been no additional terrorist attacks because of the war in Iraq even when there have been plots but increased security of the non-military variety has foiled them.
