Is it possible? I spent close to an hour last night wrestling with Marathon and Aleph One, trying to get them to run and never came close. I have a one year old 2 GHz Intel Core Duo iMac if that helps (stop laughing, I bought this for school and to play WoW, it works fine for both of those :p).

What a coincidence, I have the same iMac as you.

Anyways, make sure you're installing the Intel/Universal ones, not the old ones. Um, where are you downloading it? That might help.

EDIT: Just go here: http://source.bungie.org/get/

Go to "Get Marathon" Download Aleph One, unzip it. Then get one of the scenerios, in this case Marathon. Unzip that. Put Aleph One (not the folder, the program) and put it in the Marthon folder to play. It should work. My only guess why it wasn't working for you is either you were downloading the wrong files, or just simply misplacing things? I dunno, but that should work.

I gave it a shot and still no go. Did you wind up with one folder that was, I believe, M1A1 that had, in addition to the usual M1A1 contents, the Aleph One program file in it? Nothing else?

Thanks! I am finally able to get this to run! My hard copies sit collecting dust and I assumed I would never be able to play again. This is great!
