mario dance dance

When I spoke to nintendo (the mat I ordered online from them was defective), They said there were no plans of a reprint... but that coming from a operator who probably has no clue. Best bet is to check around used game shops and pick it up. I haven't seen it retail in over a month. If you could find a game only version (I did at ebgames for $44) you can pick up official pad at nintendo.com for $19.99. Also I heard of people using the keep it option on the gamefly.com service :)
just and idea
all together I got mine for
$44 minus edge... $40
2 dance pads from nintendo.com with 2 day air $47
so $87 with 2 pads ..but no big box.. I will live

Nintendo cam eout and said that they will be making more in Early 2006 and as late as March.

I don't know why no one listens to Nintendo spokespeople on these issues.

is the reprint gonna be for real? anyone has the link? can't find it on google :( thanx

Nintnedo had to stop making the game for some time because there was some problem getting the mats for the dance pad, or so rumor says. They will have more next year. This is the wrong area for this thread...

"Nintendo has officially contacted AMN in order to put an end to these rumors. The fact of the matter is that the game is not discontinued, but rather it is selling out all over the country. Nintendo issued this official statement, "Nintendo is very pleased with the success of Mario DDR. In fact, there has been such high demand, it has driven out-of-stock situations at retail. Nintendo is currently reviewing its plans to bring in more product in 2006."

 Yeah, Nintendo personally called sme craptacular website and let them know whats up.

Like people actually searching before posting? I just don't beleive it!

This was a really fun game. I got it from TRU and played through it. I couldn't believe the market price for these games on ebay though so I decided to get rid of it before Christmas. I really hope there is a reprint because I'd like to get it again. Still, when a game goes for 200.00+ I guess I can go without it for a while.

Don't tell me that it goes for that much. Now I have to consider eBaying mine even though I love it. I think if the fiancee didn't really care for it, I would sell it and hope it comes out again, but it's something she actually likes to play, so that'd be silly to pass on.

check stores to see if any got returned during the season.

I've seen one get returned recently, still sealed, the person just didn't want it. probably an X-mas gift.

yeah, AMN has a... shall we say, 'history' of making crap up for the publicity. around E3 2004 they posted some BS story about something Nintendo "revealed" to them exclusively, and then when no one believed them they took the article down later.

Saw one at the local Circuit City today, hidden behind many copies of DDR Ultramix 3. Too lazy to pick it up and ebay it.

You can always pick it up and send it to me. I'll pay for it :p

If it wasn't 75+ miles round trip, I would most certainly do that. The nearest Circuit City (the one I went to) is actually in the city where my college is located, but I'm here at home on break. If they still have some when I get back down to school, I will definitely pick them up for people here on the boards.
