On the Mega 64 website (MEGA64.com) they have their new Mega 64: Version 1 DVD for sale for $19.99. Do they sell this DVD in stores, preferably FYE stores (FYE, Coconuts, Strawberries, etc.)? I'd like to get this DVD, but I have a lot of FYE store credit, so I don't wanna get it online. Has anyone seen Mega 64: Version 1 on DVD at any retail stores?

Thanks in advance!

The DVD is finally out? Hmmm, when I get some money I need to order this and the Homestar Runner DVD.

It's not in stores and if it was it would be more expensive. Looks like that's the cheapest you'll find it except used.

anyone bought it yet? I want to know if it had enough content on it. The one's I've seen from the site are pretty short (but hilarious).

I've also been trying to find the content but their message board seems to be quite vague. I still want it regardless. I'm probably going to order sometime this week, so when I get it I'll post the content if someone hasn't by then.

I ordered it last week, though they haven't notified me if it's shipped yet or not. If it hasn't been posted by the time I get it, I'll let you know what's included.

I want this too. I need to pick this up, the RedvsBlue dvd, and that Homestar one. At least you can pick up redvsBlue at Gamestop.

I just got my DVD today (probably came saturday). Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but it's got 2 disks and includes all of the public access shows they've done. Plus of course lots of extras. It says all of that on the main site, but eh. I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know my thoughts on it.

Ok, just watched both DVD's today and it wasn't bad. Most of it wasn't as funny as I hoped it would be, but there's definately potential there. It's very low budget stuff, but a lot of it is entertaining none the less. Disc 1 has 4 episodes and you can play them with or without commentary. Disc 2 has the last episode, the documentary, and the deleted scenes. A couple of the deleted scenes were actually pretty good. I haven't found any of the easter eggs yet, I'll have to try that tomorrow.

No, it's not all skits like the ones shown on the site. Mega 64 was originally a public access tv show that they did in San Diego. The story involves an evil scientist who traps 2 guys into beta testing his mega 64 console. The skits involving video game characters are what take place inside the console. Within each episode it has several skits that they do as video game characters. It includes all of the videos shown on the site, except for the 2 newer ones, ghosts & goblins and hitman. The ones shown on the site are probably the best ones on the show. There was another one on river city ransom that I really liked though. :)
