Are these games worth getting ZX and ZX Advent for the DS?

I have Mega Man X Collection, X6-8, Command Missions and Zero Collection. I know the ZX games are in the same timeline but much later. Do they really continue the story and either way are they good games?
 
They are great Metroidvania style games, but they are crazy hard, they make the Zero games look like kids' stuff by comparison

Well I'm debating on ZX still. They have both in town but course not at the same store...or even on the same side of the city.
 
I didnt think ZX was that hard. I played through it just fine, and I've never beaten an Mega Man game. (Scratch that, I got to the end of ZX and then couldnt defeat the boss rush at the end)
 
Well advent is the only one I've played most of the way through, and that's where I got stuck too, the boss rush is murder.
