Megaman X8

The series is getting old, fast. Megaman X8 got some decent reviews and for that price even I might be tempted. However, If you want hardcore 2d action, you are better off with Viewtiful Joe IMO.

Yeah, but I already played Viewtiful Joe and am kind of bored of it now. I played a little of VJ2 and didn't like it as much as 1. Anyways any other good 2D PS2 game suggestions?

X4 is only the best Rockman game ever made =/..
 
X1-X5 are good, X3 and X4 are the best, X 5 is the worst, X1 and 2 are tied... in my humble opinion.

X6 is bad, but not nearly as bad as X7 and X8... they suck.
 
I've seen a couple videos of it, I just can't stand the graphics, Mega man games are at home with 2d sprites, not that crappy bland style it has now.

I own every Mega man game in their respective series, but this will be the first one I have ever passed on. I might get it down the road if it pops up in some sort of $5 sale.

X4 is easily attainable for PSX or Saturn for like 5-15 bucks. Seriously, it's the best MegaMan game around.

X3 is a little more difficult. Easier on Saturn to attain.
 
I just could not get into MM X4 or X5, although many people like them, I do not. :? I think MM X is the most well-rounded, and probably the best, if not easiest...

For $27? Hell yeah. It's a huge improvement over X7 and a great action game. Capcom finally reintroduced a bunch of unlockables and secrets to the series, plus the VA is actually decent this go-round. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't played the series in a while...
