Just a heads up people.

Meijer has a coupon in Thursday or Friday's paper good for 15% off entire purchase of $25 or more in general merchandise and apparel. This includes video games, accessories, consoles. The coupons is only good on Saturday 1/23.

yes, their prices are fair on newer games. Real old games are almost always uner 20, and the mid age titles are all over the place.
 
Here in Southwest Ohio, the coupon works great on all electronics. Consoles, games, etc. I bought a 360 Arcade last week during the 15% off day for $165. Games are priced normally. There are usually clearance racks as well - recent/old games that sell for $10-$20.
 
I've bought three Xbox 360s and my PS3 from Meijer when they have these 15% off sales. The PS3 was actually a 20% off and with the extra 10% for a Meijer MC first purchase, I got a 60GB PS3 (BC FTW!) for $360 in August 2007. My X360 Elite 2009 Holiday bundle in November was $220.30 after the $50 M$ rebate and tax. Nice!
 
Thanks for the heads up. I usually use these opportunities at Meijer to buy points cards (PSN, Wii Points, etc.) since it's rare to find deals on those. Getting a $50 PSN card for $42.50 ain't bad. In fact, it's like getting Braid for free with the current PSN sale.
 
Well if you are looking for a console and don't have a Meijer CC you can get another 10% off your purchase since they give you a 10% off your first purchase coupon when you get either the store card or Mastercard.

If you have the CC they have specific sales each month for 15% off sales once a month.
