Metal Gear Solid 2: SOL (Original Packaging)

Uh no. Actually it is worth more. The Greatest Hits is $20 and this version is more rare. If you aren't interested, then kindly go away, losers.

Guys, to clarify I have an UNOPEN/SEALED copy of the MSG2: Sons of Liberty NOT Substance. I have looked on ebay, as well, and it seems that a a sealed copy in it's original packaging (i.e. non-greatest hits) MSG2S: SOL is a rare find.

Like everyone else has said in this thread, as well as in the other thread you posted this question in, the game isn't worth much of anything. You think that just because it's the non-greatest hits version that it's somehow worth a ton of money? Think again. The only one that is even remotely worth anything is mgs: substance, and even it's not worth too much nowadays.

I stand corrected. Substance is a much more rare find. Nevertheless a non-greatest hits version of SOL is still a good find too (at least $25 on ebay). And some people do prefer the non-greatest hits version, believe ot or not.

P.S. I never said it was worth "a ton" of money. Sheesh.

A "non-greatest hits" version of any greatest hits game is hardly a find. You do realize that a game has to sell so many units in order to become a greatest hit correct? That means that just because you find a sealed copy of (insert playstation 2 game here) that is non-greatest hits, it's not worth much more than a greatest hits version. The average joe doesn't care if his copy of Gran Turismo 3 or Tekken 4 is greatest hits or not. He just wants to play the game, often for the cheapest price. Odds are anyone who is a collector either already has the original greatest hits game, or isn't going to be willing to pay much more than a greatest hits version retails for.

A sealed version of a non-rare game rarely ever gets much money. A non-sealed copy can be found easily for around $5, noone cares about collecting unopened copies of this non-rare game, so why should it sell for more than the non-sealed copy?

did you not see my link to the ebay action? even though it is not sealed, its still a non-gh version of MGS2:SOL and....no one bid on it for $3.99+3.85(shipping)=$7.84

to become a greatest hits the game must first sell 400,000 copies and be on the market for at least 9 months, thanky you

enough thread crapping, good luck with getting $25 for it right now. Maybe the price with go up in a couple years:?

Some of you guys crack me up. I haven't even written how much I was selling it for and people are jumping down my throat. Maybe some day I will understand the mindsight of a person who wastes their time posting that he or she is NOT interested in a game.

Deleted everything but the OP and Nach's post. If you all want to act like thread-crapping little bitches, that's exactly what I'll treat you like.

If you don't want what he's selling, move the fuck on.
