I was hopeing to get some opinons. How hard to find is MGS for GBC? I have an offer on another site to trade Castlevania Circle of the Moon for MGS.

I just want to be sure I don't trade away something akin to FF2 for something akin to Super Mario Bros.

Opinons appreciated!
 
Cotm isn't that hard to come by; if you're getting MGS, and you're getting it complete, go for it.

Perhaps a quick check of completed items on eBay would help the comparison?
 
I would say that's a pretty even trade IF you're getting it complete. If not you can get it game only on Ebay for like $10. COTM goes for around $20+ I believe.

I'm happy to have both complete, both awesome games. :)
 
Sorry for the confusion, I'll be giving MGS. I found a few on ebay, but it didn't help me too much. I think I'll go for the deal, as I've not played CotM, and I really enjoyed C:SotN. Here to hoping for a game that is something close!

I've got both, and neither are complete. I was thinking of trading mine in a while ago but I'll hold on. I can't even play it now because I traded in my GBA. I can't find CotM now, are you guys saying it's worth money? It's cart only..

Well then I would still say go for it, unless you're giving him a complete MGS for a cart only SOTN.
 
This is not one bit scientific but I have seen copies of castelvania way more that the Metal Gear game. I would hang on to Metal Gear and just buy Castlevania, you will see it for sale many more times I bet.

It seems that way but not by the price. Look at Ebay, MGS cart-only goes for like $10, COTM cart-only goes for $15-$20.

MGS complete does go for about $30 while I've noticed COTM does go for a little cheaper, so it depends on if it's complete or not.

I should know I've sold both games incomplete on Ebay and later bought both complete.
 
I'm missing instructions, I have no idea where they went. Otherwise complete. I decided to trade, what the heck. MGS may be harder to find, but I think I'll enjoy CotM better, and really, that's what it comes down to for me. CotM is complete, so I think I'm getting the better deal. :)
