what?...PAX had an anniversary bundle with this game? Man I was at PAX Prime and I can't believe I've missed that.
Well at least i got to meet Kojima Hideo and got his autograph, so I guess that makes up for it.

hmm, i think it was announced at pax but SOLD at konami store. hideo kojima autograph??!! nice! :cool:
 
This is tempting. I have the limited edition sealed somewhere and was thinking about opening it up.

Might have to wait and see given the price for the limited edition is going these days.

Least, more than what I paid at launch when everyone else was picking up Modern Warfare 3.

PS3 version sells for more, I think. I've got that version. Book is really nice. Even if the PW section is just a reprint of the content in the Peace Walker special edition which I also have.

Three incredible games at a wonderful price. Grab it, y'all. Backlogs be damned.

^Yup, that's the version I got for PS3. I missed out on the Peace Walker special edition from Gamestop.

Going to be a somewhat difficult decision whether to bite or not.

Oh, and BTW...I checked Newegg's price and they are OOS. I went to Play Asia and was shocked to see that the US/NA version of MGS HD for PS3 is also OOS and OOP (out of print)!

My target had like 15 copies of this for 7 or 9 dollars and I passed then because this is a stealth game. I won't buy it for 20 that's for sure.

Yeah it was a joke though it probably is the most affordable. I have them all so don't know for sure but as often as I see people bitching that Xbox games drop and ps3 games don't, maybe it is affordable. It will pay for itself by not buying more expensive ps3 versions.

Yeah, I tried to give everyone a heads-up that the game for PS3 is out of print. It was listed as back-ordered, but now Amazon just removed the game altogether. Guess they couldn't get more copies. Newegg and Play Asia are also sold out.

Target clearence are always on a per store basis just because this guy has his for 8 bucks doesn't mean fuck for the rest of us.

and the controls. There are extra button inputs for the 360 version on account of the buttons not being pressure sensitive.

This will make the Limited Edition version even more valuable now. I wish i never sold my copy last year. I did it after seeing the Zaavi exclusive version become available but they totally F'd up the shipping of these so i got stuck with no MGS LE :(
