metroid prime 1 for gamecube 9.99?

does anybody know or can confirm that gamestop has or had metroid prime used for $9.99, or was it just a christmas special? i think i still even have the advertisement magazine they had, but when i go in there it still says $12.99 on the box. just wandering cuz i'm using my friends right now and he just got his component cables and wants to play for the progressive scan feature.

btw: he says his 60" displays his ngc games in proscan beautifully.

you could buy it off ebay for that much, there was a CAG yester advertising one that came w/ the guide and the sution ended at 10.75 or something.

Yeah, they used to be $10 at Gamestop. They're selling for $10 new at KMart this weekend.
