Metroid Prime 2?

Actually despite it not being near as fun as the first I still found it quite the good game. The screw attack is cool and so is Dark Samus. Also some of the boss fights (like the spider guardian) are sorta innovative.

As for deals I constantly see sales on it for $29.99 (heck I remember it went down to $34.99 only a week or so after its release). I unfortunately don't see any deals right now, but I'm sure in the near future someone will have it for that price again.

Yeah, what's the fucking point?

Basically an excuse to reuse the game engine, which they have to do to make money. I'd much rather play Super Metroid. They should really port that game to the DS, seeing as it, unlike the GBA, has enough buttons to keep the control scheme intact.

Metriod Prime 2 is a great game.
It is on the harder side, but that's what Metroid is all about. It's worth the $50.
Apparently it can be found at GR and other places for less like others have said. Get it.

Edit: I can confirm Scorch's $26.99 at Gamefly being the lowest price (used). When all is said and done it looks to be $31.63 shipped.
Newegg had it for $29.99. Check there cuz it might still be at that price.
They've unfortunately raised the price back up to $44.99.

And I think it's pretty clear OP is asking for a deal, not for your opinions on the game.
I'm really getting sick of solving puzzles. That's basically what Metroid is.

Not really, it's about wandering around until you trigger and event or get an item, then doing it again with an occasional boss fight then eventually you see the credits.

You must not like many videogames. There are puzzles everywhere!!!!

Either way, it's boring. The first Metroid Prime was fun because it was new and told a compelling story. Metroid Prime 2 fails in that respect because: 1) everything is rehashed, 2) the story doesn't really tie into the Metroid canon at all, and 3) it's made up of little more than fetch quests.

It pains me to know Retro is working on a Metroid Prime 3 right now. I'd much rather see a new 2-D Metroid with 3-D elements on the Revolution. Thank goodness for Metroid Dread on the DS.
