Dear God...Seriously? Anthony Weiner's wife is now an undercover operative for the Muslim Brotherhood? I'm a right wing fascist compared to many on these forums, but middle of the road politically in the real world, but who in the bloody hell has elected and re-elected this horse-faced cum-stick?

It took John McCain to the rescue to try and bring any normalcy to this.

Does anybody else find it troubling that elected federal officials can say things so blatantly untrue without any repercussions?

This woman is dangerously stupid. -I know that's not a revelation, but sometimes I just need reminders.

Something tells me that if we actually get the Voter ID law here, she'll no longer get elected.

Reality is, her out of state donations are out of this world. Her elections are bought by the same people that bring you Scott Walker. Actually, her district is the one that runs along a good chunk of WI in the I-94 area.
And from there, all connections lead to the obvious Islamofascist puppetmaster: Kevin Bacon, star of Footloose.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Holy shit, that's hilarious!

Indeed. I also liked the closer:

"At any rate, if the Muslim Brotherhood wanted to infiltrate Congress, why wouldn't they do it the way everyone else does -- cut huge campaign checks and get their lobbyists to offer legislators lavish rewards for writing legislation?"

I've been reading a lot about Bachmann in the City Pages for a long time now. One thing that bothers me about how people talk about Bachmann is that they often attribute her supposed gaffes/exaggerations to stupidity or GOP fervor. And that's just not how it is. She lies. Willfully and insistently.

She is an evil, evil woman.

There's a really good (and old) article on her from the City Pages from long ago I should link here. It was so good that the Rolling Stone guy (Taibibi?) plagiarized it during her presidential campaign. Gonna try to find it.

Here's the feature from 2006

And to think I got shit for calling Palin a stupid "c-word".

Anyway, Coop's expression here pretty much sums it up.

So apparently some nut in NJ decided to make threats against Huma Abeldn. Your tax dollars at work, hopefully they bill Michele.

In today's local rag:

MICHELE BACHMANN
She seems intelligent, so keep an open mind

I have never met U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, but she strikes me as someone who is smart and informed and who, unlike many politically correct politicians (and people), will speak up. So my first reaction to her comment about the Muslim Brotherhood infiltrating the federal government and working for America's demise was not: "Oh, shame on her! How dare she?" No, I was thinking: "Oh, I sure hope she is wrong. But what if she is right?" Regardless of whether the Muslim Brotherhood is or is not America's demise, there is little doubt that we Americans will be our own demise with our political correctness and name-bashing of those who may actually have valid concerns and warnings.

Oh my... To think that this person lives within 15 miles of me.

LOLZ...At least you don't have to see an "O NO! Obamacare!" on a Lexus or some other tea-bagger bumper sticker on a Mercedes everytime you come and go from your house. And yes, it's the same owner. :D

Edina is one of the wealthier suburbs, despite a good portion of it butting up to some of West Minneapolis. I go through a bunch of it at least once a week on the way to the back quack and the place that sells fancy dog food. Quite the mix of hybrid cars and Lexus SUVs that still have a W sticker.
