HOLY CRAP!! Isn't this that game where ninjas, pirates, chick ninjas with big hooters, gary coleman, terrorists, zombie nazis, zombie jesus, and oompa loompas battle it out in the run-down, graffit filled streets of 1970s NYC??!!!

oh, no wait...it's just missile command. damn.

Yeah, seriously, they may have me on the nostalgia factor with this one... I pumped many a quarter into this game way back last century ;). If the bells and whistles are good enough I might as well get this.
I have 400 points I'm trying to save for Space Giraffe, I'll give the trial a go.
i REALLY want space giraffe

I think it's probably possible to make this playable with the analog stick, but they are going to have to do a MUCH better job than the failed attempt at Centipede/Millipede which was released recently with basically digital control. That kind of shit simply ruins the game.
Controls like crap.

Shame because they really did overhaul the graphics.
after a few games the controls felt pretty good to me. initially it was a different story.
wtf is with the electricity o_O
Tell me about it, I thought this was "missile" command not "lightning-bolt" command, LOL.

yeah the "Evolved" version is worse than the original. The lightning is horrible, it's hard to tell where the point of impact actually is and often times you "miss" the missle even though the lightning is spamming all around it. The collision is all over the place compared to a simple counter missile.

This was one of the quickest try, no thanks, deletes I've ever done on XBL. They shot themselves in the foot with this one.

Yep this game sucks, really bad implementation of the controls.

What an insult to classic games this and the Centipede/Millipede games are...

They really think they can take classic arcade game(s) with a unique control system, and just totally bowl over that and pretend it doesn't exist, and not do anything to make up for it? Are they really that foolish/naive/clueless?

Makes it seems like someone in charge of XBLA doesn't know much about games, sadly.

The people in charge of XBLA don't design the games.

Since this game was originally a roller-ball (so was centipede) how would you implement better controls on these controllers if you were in charge?

i honestly dont get it, i dont see how youd expect them to be any different at all on the controller.
i dont see how theyre so bad either. im not a fan of the lightning bolts instead of missles but the controls are fine imo.

well I'm no perfectionist so I'll be trying this out tonight if my "game spinner" lands on 360 tonight. (have to choose between 8 systems somehow, right?!)

I'm talking about Quality Control.

They need to add analog support for velocity. The Atari 2600 days are over.
