I was looking at PS3 games on Amazon and I noticed that MLB 13 the show for PS3 was only $25.52 shipped and sold at Amazon. This game was just featured in the gold box last week for about $33. This game is currently on sale at gamestop for $39.99 so this is a pretty good price.
Yeah, this techinically isn't a double post since it's dropped even further. At first I was mildly annoyed that this happened right after Amazon just had it as a Lightning Deal for $32 (when I ordered it). But now with them matching Wal-Mart's $25 price, I decided to take a shot and see if I could get one of Amazon's "old school" price guarantees since I just received my copy 2 days ago. Not only did he offer to refund me the difference, but he came up with a difference of $14.46 (which adds up to $39.98...or the non-lightning deal price). Sooo...if my math is right, I just snagged MLB 13 for $17.53. Yeah...I'm pretty happy about that, lol Much thanks to the OP for the heads up on the secondary price match by Amazon.
To show the flip side of that coin, I bought a $1200 TV on Amazon about a week ago, and was denied a $70 price guarantee because they don't consider Abe's of Maine to be a competitor. So, you win some, you lose some, haha.
