MLS Cup trophy looks pretty decent this year

I was watching the game last Saturday and noticed that they redesigned the MLS cup for this year and it actually looks pretty cool...

Definitely gonna watch the final. I'm a bit worried about attendance, though. Somehow, I don't see either the NY or Columbus fans going all the way to LA, which would really kill the atmosphere. Hopefully some of the locals go out and watch it, too.

I think they have a decent enough fanbase in LA to drive enough people there. Soccer fans can get pretty crazy and committed so you never know. I won't make that trek all the way to the West coast to watch but it on my definite must watch list for Sunday. Who're you predicting to win?

Its weird you mention that about people going from NY to Cali cause they're showing those players traveling from NY to Cali to deliver the cup in that video series. Right now they're in Colorado somewhere...

It's a tough call. NY has been hammered by injuries and suspensions, but they continue to win. Columbus doesn't have any real start power and is more of a team.

If anything, Sigi Schmidt (sp?) has a lot of experience. He's already won the championship, so he knows how to get it done. So I'm gonna go with Columbus.
