Monster Cable For Xbox
just find any gold coated cables...
yup, and spend your saved money on a new game! or two!

When I was comparing cables after I bought my Xbox (years ago) the Monster cables did not come with an optical output, you had to purchase a separate Monster cable if you wanted DD5.1. Something to consider if you have a home theater system. If I were you I'd probably just stick with the Microsoft Advanced A/V pack (for S-video) or the Microsoft High-Definition A/V pack (for Component).

I have a Monster S-video cable I've wanted to get rid of since it came with the Xbox I bought from someone. My TV doesn't have S-video so if you want one, how's $18 shipped sound? PM me if you're interested (I can send pics).

DO NOT BUY MONSTER CABLES. They are no better than the cheap stuff you buy at Radio Shack. They are the most falsely advertised things I've ever seen. Seriously, they suck, and will not use "AMAZING HYPER-FLEX DYNATRON POLY-MOLDED FIBRES TO DELIEVER A PICTURE UNLIKE ANYTHING YOU'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!" I hate this company.

This article sums it up nicely:
Sorry, but I feel morally obliged to post this whenever I hear anything about Monster Cables
Guess no one bothered to click my link :(

i thought that article was kinda stupid as well as the guy who wrote it. nevertheless, monster cables are way over priced, and you can buy quality cables for much less on the web. do a little research and you'll see. good cables make a difference, but they aren't worth the price that monster is overcharging. copper wire and rubber insulation is very cheap and if you are buying cable, the price should reflect that.

but if you have have a mad catz, svideo, and then use a monster cable YOU WILL see a diffrence..

why some people will spend all that money for cable is beyond me............ It might be a LIL better but x times the price better? not where i'm sitting, these monster cables fan boys are the same jokers who love to post there system/set-up specs under there posts.

I have a set of Monster Cables for Xbox that I have absolutely no use for, since they don't have an optical out.

Wish I could get rid of them. :(

MMN, will those monster cables do the same thing as the microsoft high def av pack? I just oredered that 30" Phillips and need some cables for it. Also, if you have a surround sound setup do you need optical output? PM me about those cables if you think they will do the trick and maybe I can buy them off of you. Thank you.
