Monster Cable is one of the Worst Companies in America™, as far as I'm concerned. Only ignorant consumer shits buy that garbage.

It stuns me that they still manage to get away with their sham claims that their digital video cables (HDMI, etc) will provide better picture quality than any others (due to their patented quad-flux interweave micron braided nitrous-injected mithril-shielded dynamic wavelength cable technology, or whatever else their marketing team has come up with this week), when by the very NATURE of digital video, the cable will either transfer the picture properly, or won't transfer it at all, without variation in picture quality.

This company has gotten away with deceiving and misleading easily persuaded and ill-informed consumers for too long, and I wish them the most catastrophic of closures.
 
Keep in mind that this is just speaker wire they're testing. Anything that can conduct electricity will work the same as regular speaker wire. The only thing that actually impacts sound quality is the wire guage + length of the wire. It's the same reason why you can buy power cords at Home Depot and use them as speaker cables.

Right, but that hasn't prevented Monster from trying to cash in by using BS marketing and pretty packaging.
 
About a year and a half ago I went to a Monster training seminar. Needless to say we were cracking up and most of us just went for free shit to sell later. My one friend was even high during the thing and got lost at the hotel it was held at. Good times.
