More Card Owners: Buy 2 Get 1 Free & Buy 2 Used DVDs Get 1 Free

This is just a headsup for any More card owners at Gamestop (Game Informer Card Owners).

Inside Octobers issue of game informer there is 2 coupons.. 1 for Buy 2 Used Games get 1 Free and Buy 2 Used DVD's and get 1 Free. You must have your card with you and coupons to qualify.. You should be receiving the new issue sometime this week, stores started receiving the issue today until friday.

Just a reminder.. if tihs has been posted kill me.. Not really a killer deal!! but a nice reminder

Sweet, I'll be looking out for this. Some of the games I wanted had better deals at GS than at EB, but I was passing over them in favor of the upcoming EB b2g1 sale. But now that GS is having a sale of their own...

What the? Why limit the sale to only those who have the magazine, instead of having it available to everyone? If someone isn't already a subscriber, they're limiting their sales because who will want to spend $15 to get the card first and then pay extra money to get the games? Unless they intend to buy 3 games that are over $15.
 
oh man, great timing. I just renewed my card on monday and saw deadwood and carnivale box sets. Really tought hard about getting them, but now will grab them along with godfather set.
 
hmm, does anyone know if you can photocopy the coupons, or do they have to be the original? i know when they just had their recent buy 2 get 1 free coupon for DVD's a couple weeks ago that you could photocopy those.

Its an incentive to buy/join their program. Much like any other rewards/discount program.

might have to read the fine print on that one...not sure...
 
i got buy 2 dvds for 10 today along with buy 2 get 1 free coupon and the 10% card discount. 3 promotions in one! so it was 6 dvds for 18 bucks today, 3 a piece.
 
time to return Bust a Groove 2 and Persona 2, then rebuy them with a third game. i wonder if they'll just give me the third game when i show them the coupon. that would save quite a bit of hassle.

They'll have to void the old transaction and add the 3rd game. It's for inventory purposes.
 
I wonder if I could possibly find all 3 seasons of Aqua Teen Hunger Force....THAT SHOW FRIGGIN OWNZ YOU!
 
When does it expire? If it goes into December (which I doubt) the buy 2 get 1 free could be good for some xbox 360 launch games.

I doubt you'll see any used XBox360 games that early.

man i should of just return all those used ps2 games that i brought but atleast an employee hooked me up with the coupon when i brought lunar 2, persona, and chocobo's dungeon 2 today
 
Really this deal isnt bad for anyone.. and if you want a free card just get 3 games 14.99 or above.. and you can score at least a card for free which is good for a year and a free sub to game informer and 10% off any used game/dvd/accessories for the next year, and get 10% extra on the same items in trades when theres no promotions.

beats nothing ya know?

Of course there would be some. Not a lot, but I have seen some games like Conker, Doom 3, Halo 2, KOTOR 2, Jade Empire, and a few others in stores used a day or 2 after release. I will pick up some of my lesser-wanted xbox 360 games once GS has a buy 2 get 1 free on used games.
