Morrowind III Elder Scrolls (Xbox) $4.77

I buy this game about every three or four months and end up trading it in every time. I always think I should give the game another try and maybe I can actually get into it, but it never works.

The game is just too damn big for me to really put the time into it. I'd rather play Halo 2 or Lunar.

Seriously, just spend the extra $10 and get the GOTY version. The original Morrowind has some really nasty bugs and glitches. The worst being that you essentially have to save every 10 minutes late in the game or risk falling victime to some random game freeze.

For a game as complicated as Morrowind, you'll probably want to spend the extra buck and get an instruction manual with it. You'll be glad you spend the extra cash.

Today I found the Players Guide for the GOTY edition (covers Tribunal and Bloodmoon PC or Xbox) for $1.98 at Gamestop (used) but it doesn't look used . . . 414 pages! Normally retails for $19.99.

Also got PoP Warrior Within guide for $2 (don't have the game yet)

Unfortunately, I only have the original Morrowind (still sealed, got it free at TRU with the Dec. coupon) . . . need a cheap copy of GOTY

Best videogame ever made! I wish I had never played it so I could pick it up and start playing it all over again w/o knowing what's gonna happen. I envy those who have just come across it.

if this game is too slow for you, or too in depth for everyone not an RPG lover, buy fable, that's my reccomendation, yes it's shorter at 10 hours of gameplay instead of morrowinds 100+hours, but it's fun and not as in depth, it was a little to un-depth for me though. more of an action/rpg.

morrowind is cool anyways. fun but just slower, my only complaint. for how often i play it, it's still worth the 16 i spent on it. great game. first person rpg fighting is awesome, and then when your not fighting, switch to third-person, to observe the sceneary on long, long, long walks.
i think it is like $4 shipped at gamestop.
$4.99 actually but they don't guarantee case and instructions.

$7.50 after coupons at EBGames.com (w case and instructions)
$13.50 for GOTY ($18 prior to discount).

I'd pay $7.50 for GOTY . . .
I found the GOTY edition (PH) for $9.99 at Target.
Same here. I've seen it for 9.99 at Target, and Best Buy.

Are you sure its the GOTY edition at Target? I saw the same thing PH version last weekend for $9.99 but it was the regular version. It said something about a GOTY award on the cover, but I don't think it was actually the GOTY edition.

LOL Dude!!! I do the same exact thing. I thought I was the only one.

I pretty much stay away from RPGs for the same reason . . . I need 15 hour games with my family and work occupying most of my time.

Love the Jaks, Ratchets, Slys for this reason.

I'll probably dump the game without playing it :whistle2:(

well hold on to that guide.

I have been a fan since Arena, and I dont even think that was topped when Daggerfall came out.

Anyway those games are worth more than they retailed for now and the guides are no exception.

These games have a cult following, maybe not so much Morrowind due tot he larger release but they are collectible and it would be in your best interest to hold the stuff for a later resale. Especially at the minimul investment you have made.

The covers on the regular Morrowing and the GOTY releases are slightly different. The regular cover is a somewhat dull brown while the GOTY release is shiny with gold inlays.
