Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath Kollection $34.99 Best Buy DOTD

My question is does anyone know the best way to get this cheaper? 

I have Mortal Kombat 11 that I purchased on BF for $19.99. 

Questions: 

- Never did a trade in before, can someone walk me thru the process and how much it would cost me to get Aftermath? 

- Also I just started 11 would I be able to continue at the same point with Aftermath or is that a totally new game?

Aftermath is an expansion for MK11.  The retail copy that's available in stores has the original game plus all the DLC, including Aftermath.  If you were playing the original game, I'd imagine you'd be able to carry over your progress, but I am not 100% sure on that.  I bought the original game on PC, but I bought the aftermath collection on XBox One a while back because I wanted a physical copy, also because the Aftermath expansion actually retails for 40 bucks on its own.  Hope that helps with your questions somewhat,

This is me as well. Waiting it out for Black Friday but than again, there are a few deals here and there that are good as well. Guess it all comes down to whether you cave in or not. Just like this deal, it's actually pretty good.
 
Mortal kombat 11 was $25 at best buy last year on black Friday. It might have been $20 somewhere I think. Im going to bite since I have gamers club still so its $28 now for it.

For sure it will be... but the issue was a timing one. I just started REPLAYING all the MK's starting with MK 9 on ps3..

Just started the 2nd play thru of MK 11, and yesterdays DOTD had me thinking, might as well play the "complete" version if I'm going to play thru MK 11 again..


HOWEVER if there is a way that I can buy Aftermath and continue right off where MK11 finished seamlessly then yeah its no biggie..

But if I have to play thru it all again, aka a 3'rd time..

Thats where I was coming from...

Are previous saves from MK11 compatible? Sometimes when they release a complete set without codes they become a "different game" like The Witcher 3.

maaaaaaaaaaan, I was a dummy bout that. Bout XL right, played it and beat it right... vaguely remember thinking at the time, wut the heck my copy of MK didn't have Predator or Alien.. That was 2yrs ago

Fast fwd to about a month ago, popped in XL, remember I'm replaying MK9 - MK11, and fired up 2 player and to my shock there is Predator and ALIEN

I was on cloud 9 for sure!, like a dream came true!!

Though now that I think about it.. I don't remember a Freddy on there? I do remember a Jason on there, Jason with the hockey mask of course... DOPE!
