Motorstorm Apocalypse is available from The Hut in the UK for 29.85 pounds herehttp://www.thehut.com/games/platforms/ps3/motorstorm-apocalypse/10208048.html

Add the coupon code 'SUM2' to knock off another 2 pounds off to 27.85 (=$45.63 US)

The Hut has free international shipping (see the UK Limited Edition Thread for more details regarding shipping times). Time stated on the website is 10 business days.

Motorstorm Apocalypse is currently without a US release date due to the Japan disaster, but there's been a rumored date of June 2nd. Two months early & almost $15 off the retail....sounds good to me ;)
how long will it take them to deliver the game, if its like a month or so then ill just wait for the us version
Did you not read the op? Ten business days.

How do I setup a paypal account on this site? I try to use paypal to checkout and it comes up with an error, but it doesn't even ask me to login to it.

you can make a UK PSN account for free... and gameshare it with your own account.

not to mention this game was developed in europe or the uk or something so patches and support will be top notch with the pal version.

Where did you see the rumored June 2 date? I've been checking every day since the delay was announced and have seen nothing on the US date. A member of the development team said last Thursday in the Motostorm forum over at playstation.eu "Keep your ear to the ground for news on this, I don't expect you'll have to wait much longer for an update from PlayStation America." and yet still nothing over there.

Saw the date suggested in the Official Thread on NeoGAF, which has a wide array of opinions about the game right now (complaints regarding the online servers at the moment).

I just had to take the plunge & pick this up irregardless of any worries of setting up a UK PSN account. I figure that I can buy a UK PSN card through Zavvi/The Hut if & when the time I'm itching for any of the DLC.

With a 10% off coupon (one-time use via e-mail) from The Hut, I wound up getting the game for $43.95 shipped :)
I tried but saw no US as shipping options. I tried paypal checkout
I had the same problem with the site a couple of weeks ago. My recommendation to get beyond this is to first establish your account & then go to your address book to input your US address. I did not take this step a few weeks ago & when trying to input my address after putting something in my cart, it did not have 'United States' drop down option in the country box. I had to first input my address in the options before getting the address to take.

As far as PayPal goes, check out some posts in the UK/CE exclusives thread to see if anyone else is using it to purchase, as I believe that they were having trouble getting it to work properly. I tried, but wound up using a CC instead to order.

I was all set to import this game, but tried the demo first and am glad I did. It feels nothing like the previous Motorstorm games and more like a Burnout game. I decided to pass.

That is good to know. Nothing against burnout but I really liked Pacific Rift and was hoping for more of the same.

Yeah, I strongly suggest you try the demo first. The feel of the game is totally different now. If I didn't know better I wouldn't have any idea this was a Motorstorm game.

i hear thats because A: its on a road B: the two vehicles are the supervehicles that are much more twitchy (only get to play those 2 in the demo) and C: they did tweak the handling a little bit for higher speeds.

i enjoyed it,(the demo) and for 45 its hard to pass up.
