All Movie Gallery and VHQ locations in Canada appear to be closing. Everything within the store is 20-30% and for sale. Didn't check movies, but games are 20% off, including accessories and consoles. All sales are final. Selection is obviously YMMV, but the pricing seems to be the exact same from store to store.

I went to two locations in the Saskatoon area today. Between my roommate and I, here is our haul (note that the prices are before tax and the 20% deduction).

-SSX3 (PS2) - $10
-Second Sight (PS2) -$5
-Red Dead Revolver (PS2) - $10
-Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (PS2) - $15 :hot:
-Trauma Centre: Second Opinion (Wii) - $15
-Wario Land Shake It! (Wii) -$20
-Little King Story (Wii) -$25
-Folklore (PS3) -$20
-Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) - $20 :hot:
-Unreal Tournament 3 (360) -$10
-Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations (DS) - $20 (New)

Generally, don't expect deals on newer titles, like FFXIII or even Bayonetta. They're way overpriced. But keep an eye out for great last generation gems, like FFXII, Paper Mario 2, Yakuza 1/2, and of course Nocturne (YMMV!). I saw a few of them, but they were mostly ones that I already had. Ask me here if you want to know a price of a game and I will tell you if I remember.

still only 20% off ? they were discounted that much last week here aren't they supposed to continuously mark down each week until everything is gone (at least thats what they did at the leamington store when it closed). Good to know that its all stores though gonna check out the other 2 stores in my area today

For Folklore, Wario and Valkyria, were those used or new prices?

Used prices. Only one of the Movie Galleries I went to had new games there, and it was pretty picked clean. The prices also hadn't been dropped, but a few DS/PSP games were cheaper than normal. Also saw DQIV there for $20 before tax/20% off.

Valkyria, Wario, and Folklore ended up being about ~$17 each.

Amazing price on Valkyria. Only ok on Wario and Folklore.
 
valkyria has been that price NEW for many months in USA... i even got my friend to ship it to me from amazon.com

but if you have no way to import it, $17 used is ok if you have a store near you
 
Picked up Just Cause 2 for $50*0.8 = $40 + tax used. Also saw Splinter Cell Conviction for the same price (though for $5 more you can get it new at FS) as well as Forza 3. Bayonetta was $45 before reduction ($36 after). All 360 games. Mine's PS3 collection was awful.
 
went to movie gallery again today games are finally discounted to 30% of while movies are up to 60% off

Yeah, half of the games I bought I've seen for cheaper since I bought them, like UT3, LKS, FL, and WLSI.

But there still are some good deals and they're all great games, so I don't regret it ;)
 
didnt find any good game deals (picked up rock band 2 for ps3 for 20 + 30% off)
but my main buy was the LOTR blu ray collection for $60 with 30% off (I was hella surprised to see that it was originally priced at $60, cause i saw some Rob Schnieder dvd priced at $36)
