I went to the local MovieStop (Macon, GA) this evening and there were a couple of sales going on. The sales were "Manager's Specials" but I suspect that they may be chain-wide.

The first was a 50% off sale on selected horror titles. Most, if not all of the titles were Anchor Bay. I picked up:

The Wicker Man 2-disc CE - $8.00
Dawn Of The Dead Divimax - $5.00
Day Of The Dead Divimax Special Edition - $7.50
Phantasm - $7.50
The Hills Have Eyes - $5.00
Re-Animator Limited Edition - $10.00

They had a number of other titles of which I remember a few:the single disc versions of The Wicker Man, the single disc version of Suspiria, and a number of different versions of Halloween. I realize that several of these titles can be found for slightly less online, but it still seems to be a good deal.

There was also a BOGO sale on selected Blu-Ray titles. I believe there were 20-30 different titles. The only ones I remember were one of the POTC movies and Dinosaur (Disney).

Wow, that's weird, I was about to post this as well. I went to the Macon store too.

I think they're doing the Blu-rays because of that Best Buy sale next week.
 
I'm guessing its the same 20 or so titles that every other retailer is clearancing out on then. I'll still check it out. B1G1 there is $22.99 for 2 rather than Best Buy's $30 for 2.
 
Confirmed at the Moviestop in Prattville, AL. Not the greatest of selections, and the only two I was really interested in - the 2 Pirates movies - were $29.99, same as BB. I would have went ahead & picked those up since I was there, but I have a $5 reward zone cert. that I want to use towards them.
 
I picked up the Re-Animator. :) I love the highlighter it came with.

I did see Halloween 3, 4, and I think 6. And I THINK Land of the Dead. I don't remember.
