MS 360 failure?

My friend just got his 360 back and in *LESS THEN ONE DAY* it wasn't able to read any discs, but got no more RROD. MS has done nothing with the fixes it seems, as far as new 360s go they are supposed to be indestructable with the new heat sink and all.

If it's just a heat sink you would have to assume that all the old 360s sent in would get them.
Impressive that they could get him a new box so fast. I called on Saturday and no coffin has arrvied today. (Monday) It's sad that they didn't both testing the dvd drive. I hope your friend receives a free game for the trouble.
