MS Live Search Club Xbox 360 Help needed

Earlier this year when MS LSC re-listed the Xbox 360 Pro (Back when it was only 35,000 points) I placed the order just to find out it was a glitch listing on their website. Long story short, I have been fighting with them since then and finally got them to mail me the Xbox 360. Unfortunately when I received it today I found I received an old 2006 edition of their 20gb Pro. The box was also opened!

If I remember correctly wasn't this prize supposed to be a bundle? Also if anyone is reading this and won the Xbox prize please let me know if it was the old NO HDMI system and if it was still sealed. I think I may need to complain to them again about this. I even had to contact Brad Goldberg himself just to get this far. I don't know if what they gave me was old stock, Refurbished or a bad unit they received back. All I know is I'm not opening it any further to find out. I just got it today and it's already almost three years old so I'm sure there's no warranty either.

So please guys and gals if you won a xbox 360 shoot me an email with any confirmation of what the prize was so I can prove to MS that it was supposed to be a bundle or at least NEW...

When it was up before(for 55k), it was listed as a refurb.
 
Yeah, the consoles they were giving out later were refurbs. Though [gloating]I got a new HDMI console, Falcon and everything when I ordered back in Jan.[/gloating]. So, basically, with LSC, the earlier you order, the more likely that you will get a new console, and later, refurbs. And, they are allowed to send you referbs, it says so in the ToS you agreed to.
 
Yeah I ordered mine back in October of last year and it took all the way up to May for them to send it to me. I got a new falcon hdmi unit myself but after all that hassle I say you might as well fight it all the way to get a better system. or say something like it was broken out of box or something. but I say fight it as far as you can.

and I got gagged on the bundle as well so that one you just have to chalk up to LSC.
 
Thanks all for letting me know. I figure when I placed the order on their glitch it was prob. the refurb and I overlooked that part. I figure as long as there is a warranty I'm okay with it. I may complain a little but not press my luck too much.

I ordered around the same time as you and I got one of the newer ones with the HDMI port. And yes it did say that it was a bundle but nobody that ordered got anything extra, I remember that a few people contacted LSC about that but I dont think they ever heard anything back from them.

I dont think that there is anything you can do.:cry:
 
A few people actually did get the bundle, I wasn't one of the lucky ones though. IF I recall correctly the games they got were Halo 3, Kameo, and Project Gotham Racing 3. plus if you were lucky enough to actually get that bundle then you were also probably lucky enough to get the game bundle twice and 2 xbox 360's also. the people that were lucky enough for this to happen to ordered their 360's around late november early december. (after me in october and before most people that got them quick in january.)

So I got an email from LSC and they are sending me a prepaid return label and upon receipt of my return they are sending me a NEW Xbox 360 system. They said they were out of stock on the bundles but really the games they included are old now anyways. I just wish it was the new 60GB. But hey it's free right!

Congrats! Just goes to show kids, persistence in complaining may just eventually pay off, well done Windsor.
