My SNES Pawn Shop Finds

Usually I go to pawn shops only to find overpriced crap. Today I was looking at some SNES games, and one of the employees came over to me. He said, "Hey, I've got a bunch more in the back that we don't have room for out here." I decided to take a look. He brought out a box of roughly 20 games. My buddy was looking for NHL '94. Instead of finding that, my eye caught two games: Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy II. I love both games. I thought it was awesome that I was able to find these on SNES...so much more nostalgic than their Playstation counterparts. I also threw in Secret of Evermore, thus taking 20% off of my total. The games were $10 each, before the discount. I ended up getting all three for just over $25.

A nice find for someone who seems to miss out on all the steals!

My pawn shops has every third generation game for like 15 bucks. i was going to pick up .hack mutation but it was complete. most psone games are like 6 bucks. i grabbed xenogears and vagrant story for that price.
Secret of Evermore is $5.99 on ebgames.com when it's available I think - But those other two are awesome deals.
Yeah...I didn't really think that game was neccessarily rare, but I did love it when I played it. And plus, getting it kicked in the 20% off, so I figured "what the hell?"
I need to find a pawn shop sometime. Anyone know if there's any good ones in South Jersey?
Or North Jersey.

Good finds OP. I am still looking for both FF II and Chrono Trigger. :? My pawn shops have led me to some great games.
Can I safely assume that all three games were cartridge-only?
Yeah...just cartridge.

I should note I don't even have a SNES. I do plan on (re)aquiring one sometime, but for now I'm just kinda stocking up on games when I get 'em for cheap. Like, for instance, I grabbed Mario Paint for $1.50 shipped from EB the other day. (Didn't get a mouse with it, though; I didn't bother to call and complain, either...because it's $1.50)

The only game I really genuinely want is Earthbound. While I do enjoy some of these other games, Earthbound is possibly my favorite game of all-time.

You should send them an e-mail complaining about the situation. I ordered it about a month back and didn't receive the mouse right away, but after a couple e-mails I got the mouse sent to me no problem.

You think I'd still be able to, though? It was at least a month ago...
